Announcing The Next Phase Of The Driven To Protect Initiative In Virginia
Since 2018, Driven to Protect has been helping to develop and test in-vehicle alcohol detection technology that will determine if a driver is impaired with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) at or above the applicable legal limit and prevent the vehicle from moving. The Initiative has also worked in communities across the state to educate Virginians about the dangers of impaired driving and with partners like the Virginia Department of Education to develop virtual lessons for students about safe driving practices and the science behind the Driver Alcohol Detection System for Safety (DADSS) technology.
Join us on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM EST to learn about the next phase of the Driven to Protect Initiative in Virginia: an exciting new trial deployment with international transportation and logistics provider Schneider.
This collaboration is helping Virginia to advance the fight against drunk driving by generating hundreds of thousands of miles of real-world operational data and analyses needed to commercialize fully passive vehicle-integrated breath technology.
