On the weekend of May 20th, Driven to Protect attended the Ford Driving Skills for Life event, hosted by the Ford Motor Company. Attendees included driver education teachers, members of law enforcement, and newly licensed young drivers. The goal of the event was to expand on safe driving practices beyond what is taught in traditional driver education classes.
High temperatures did not deter this dedicated team of educators. The Driven to Protect booth displayed the Learning Experience Trailer (LET) and two demonstration vehicles to showcase the DADSS technology. Many attendees had not heard of these life-saving initiatives before. Those who explored the exhibit expressed enthusiasm at the prospect of safer roads for drivers across the Commonwealth.
We enjoyed interacting with new drivers and traffic safety professionals in the community, and look forward to exploring more ways to showcase the mission of Driven to Protect and the DADSS technology!
