August 7th, 2024 – Driven to Protect CT Event in New Haven w/ U.S. Senator Blumenthal

The DADSS Program was proud to join the Connecticut Department of Transportation, representatives from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) & U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) to showcase anti-drunk driving technology being tested through our partnership with the Driven to Protect | Connecticut Initiative.

Under the leadership of Connecticut Department of Transportation’s Office of Highway Safety, Connecticut is helping generating real-world operational data and feedback to improve the DADSS Program’s breath alcohol-detection technology.

We’re grateful to our partners in Connecticut, MADD and Sen. Blumenthal for their ongoing leadership in the fight against drunk driving, and look forward to making this new vehicle safety technology more widely available in the future.
